Student must have passed the Washington Knowledge Test within the past two years.

Videos are available on the WA State DOL YouTube page. Everything you need to know about your skills test is there.

Photo ID is required to test (i.e., state-issued, passport, military, school, or yearbook).

Must let Examiner know if you are using an interlock device, if so, Test must be done in your vehicle.

Payment is required at the time of registration to schedule the test.

Use of Fastlane Academy vehicle is optional.

If you are using your vehicle for the test, you must be able to show current vehicle registration and proof of insurance. The vehicle must be tidy and in proper working condition.

**WA Skills test fee is non-refundable. Retest fee is the same as initial test fee.

We highly recommend you study the Washington State Driver's Guide.

Photo ID is preferred to test (i.e., state-issued, passport, military, school, or yearbook). If under 18 and don't have a government photo, bring a birth certificate, a parent on the certificate, and their ID. Be sure to pre-register with the DOL prior to testing. (If you have a Washington State ID or permit, you are already pre-registered.)

Note: For Fastlane Academy students that have already completed the Drivers Education Course with us - the first attempt at the Knowledge Test is free. You can enroll from your Student Portal.

This is a 1 hr free prep class for people who are needing extra study time for the Knowledge written exam.

A Faslane Driving Academy Instructor will be going over the rules of WA roadways with you from the Drivers Guide and help you through the booklet to provide a better understanding for you traffic laws.

Who will this help...any one who needs a little help with studying the booklet.

You may stay and take the Knowledge test if their is a testing session available after this class, the cost of the Knowledge test is 30.00. You can prepay or pay at the time of the test cash or card are accepted.

1 Hour of Behind the Wheel Instructions.

For individuals who have driving experience and are looking for a refresher before taking the WA Skills Test.

Must have your WA state learners permit.

2 Hours of behind the wheel instruction.

For individuals with some driving experience and are wanting some extra help before taking the WA Skills Test.

4 Hours of behind the wheel instruction.

For individuals with little to no experience in driving.

Comes with a prerequisite video that must be watched before scheduling drives.
